DUSHANBE, April 15, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Tajikistan has received more than 670 million kWh of electrical power fro Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan since February 27, when Turkmen power deliveries to Tajikistan via Uzbek power systems were resumed and Uzbekistan began supplying electricity to Tajikistan, according to Barqi Tojik power holding.

Over the first three months of this year, Tajikistan has received some 165 million kWh of Uzbek electricity and more than 330 million kWh of Turkmen electrical power.  This month, Tajikistan has received some 50 million kWh of Uzbek electricity and 125 million kWh of Turkmen electricity, the source at Barqi Tojik said.

On the present situation at the Norak reservoir, the source said that yesterday, the rate of inflow into the reservoir was more than 470 cubic meters per second and the rate of the reservoir outflows was 520-530 cubic meters per second.
