DUSHANBE, May 8, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) has worked out a draft program to mitigate impact of the global financial crisis on the country’s agrarian sector.

The source at a MoA said the draft program had been submitted for consideration to the government.

Besides, the ministry’s scientific-technical council has developed draft programs for development of seed farming and development of the cotton sector in the country.  Both programs are designed for 2010-2015.
