DUSHANBE, May 26, 2009, Asia-Plus  — President Emomali Rahmon today had phone conversations with a number of heads of districts subordinate to the center to review the results of this year’s work, according to presidential press service.

Chairmen of Roudaki, Fayzobod, Tojikobobod, Jirgatol, Hissor, Shahrinav and Tursunzoda districts as well as Khatlon’s Yovon district reported on the results of work carried out by them over the first four months of this year.

They, in particular, reported on the spring sowing campaign, implementation of president’s instruction on providing assistance to disaster-hit families, as well as stocking fodders for cattle, providing domestic market with local agricultural output and providing vulnerable families with energy-saving light bulbs, the press service said.
