DUSHANBE, May 27, 2009, Asia-Plus  — A government session, presided over by President Emomali Rahmon, was held in Dushanbe yesterday afternoon.

According to presidential press service, the session considered more than 40 issues, including the report by Khatlon governor Ghaybullo Afzal on Khatlon’s economic results in January-April this year.

Besides, the meeting discussed and endorsed the seed growing development program designed for 2010-2014, national tourism development program for the same period, state register of water economy facilities and the national information policy concept. 

The session also considered and endorsed the procedure of establishment of the state fund of precious metals and precious stones of the country.
