DUSHANBE, May 28, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Turkish President Abdullah Gul heading governmental delegation is arriving in Tajikistan one an official visit today evening.

Tomorrow morning, he will hold talks with President Emomali Rahmon and then negotiations with participation of the government delegations of the two countries will be held, according to the MFA information department.  The negotiations are expected to result in signing of a number of cooperation documents.

On Friday, Abdullah Gul is also scheduled to visit a conference of Tajik and Turkish entrepreneurs that will be held at the Hyatt Regency Dushanbe Hotel and the Tajik-Turkish Lyceum named after Hoji Kamol in Dushanbe.

On May 30, Turkish president will hold talks with Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov and the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) Chairman Saydullo Khairulloyev.

Diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Turkey were established on January 29, 1992.
