DUSHANBE, May 29, 2009, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Achievements of national education system in the context of multilateral cooperation were discussed here yesterday at a meeting of Education Minister Abdujabbor Rahmonov with representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Tajikistan, donors as well as international and non-governmental organizations active in the country, according to the Ministry of Education (MoE).

Noilsho Nouraliyev, a spokesman for a MoE, said tat the minister had informed those present of priorities of development of the educations sector in the country and had presented the national education development program designed for 2010-2015.

Besides, the MoE capital construction directorate officials reported on investments in and contribution of donors to rehabilitation and construction of educational facilities in Tajikistan.

The meeting participants also discussed new forms of access to studying at higher educational institutions, including establishment of the national center for testing, the spokesman said.
