DUSHANBE, June 17, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The trial of Taghoynazar Solehov, the brother of the ex-Minister of Interiors Mahmadnazar Solehov, is continuing in Dushanbe city court.

Justice Alpomish Akbarov, who is taking in the trail, refused to meet with reporters today, pleading an acute shortage of time.

We will recall that the trial of Taghoynazar Solehov began on June 11.  Proceedings started with reading of the indictment, which charged Taghoynazar Solehov with killing and illegally bearing, possessing and acquiring weapons.

As it had been reported earlier, Taghoynazar Solehov was detained in Dushanbe on April 17 this year on suspicion of having killed his brother-in-law, police officer Daler Fozilov.
