DUSHANBE, July 6, 2009, Asia-Plus  — A three-day exhibition of Iran’s research, education and technological achievements has opened at the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex in Dushanbe today morning, according to Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).

Staged by Tajikistan’s Ministry of Education and CCI in cooperation with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) and Iran’s company Irtibatsazi with support of President Emomali Rahmon, the exhibition runs through July 8.

The main objective of the exhibition is in promoting expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between research and education facilities of Tajikistan and Iran.

“More than 35 Iranian universities and five publishing centers of Iran have put on display their achievements in the exhibition,” the CCI source said, noting that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of education will be signed on the sidelines of the exhibition.
