KULOB, July 27, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Construction of a spinning mill, Farres, is progressing in Khatlon’s Farkhor district.

Speaking to reporters, the factory manager Ahmadkhon Davlatov said that the limited liability company, Sarvat, and the private firm, Ziroatsho, were constructing the mill.

“A total cost of the project is 650,000 US dollars and the factory will create up to 300 new jobs for local residents,” Davlatov said.  According to him, the factory is expected to be finished in several months.
