DUSHANBE, August 24, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The body of young woman with signs of violent death was found in the Dushanbinka River near the state-run publishing house, Sharqi Ozod, Sunday evening, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).

“She looks about 25-30 and has serious injuries on her head,” the source at a MoI said.

The prosecutor’s office for Dushanbe’s Firdavsi district has instituted criminal proceedings to investigate into the incident.
