DUSHANBE, September 18, 2009, Asia-Plus  — On Thursday September 17, the first deputy head of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Odil Sangov, received a delegation of the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ), led by Mr. Holn Brook (phonetically spelled), the regional manager of the project, Support to Regional Economic Cooperation in Central Asia, according to the CCI press service.

The sides discussed issues related to cooperation between CCI and GTZ in organizing training for Tajik enterprises through providing methodical, legal and consultative assistance with introducing the Japanese Kaidzen management system.

Specialists from GTZ consider this system the model of the quality management system, strategy of continuing improvement of the production process, the press service said.  Introduction of the Kaidzen management system is the first step towards getting international standard certificate that will undoubtedly increase quality of the manufactured and the whole production run and will promote honest competition and improvement of competitiveness of Tajik commodities both in domestic and external markets.

The sides agreed that training for Tajik entrepreneurs would be conducted in November this year with technical and financial support from GTZ.
