KULOB, October 31, 2009, Asia-Plus — Khatlon’s Kulob zone has received 33 bodies of its residents (32 from Russia and one form Iran) over the first nine months of this year, according to the Kulob police department.

The listed causes of death were murder (9), disease (16), accident (7), and traffic accident (1), the source said.

He noted that 28 coffins bearing Kulob residents returned to Tajikistan from Russia in the same period last year.  Seven of them had been killed.
