DUSHANBE, November 11, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The British parliamentary group is expected to pay visit to Tajikistan on November 14-18, Shavkat Saidov, an aide to the speaker of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament), said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

According to him, the British delegation is scheduled to meet with Mirzoali Boltuyev, Chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER), and Rustam Nazarov, Director of the Drug Control Agency (DCA) on November 14.

On Monday November 16, visiting British MPs are expected to hold talks with Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi, Majlisi Milli Chairman Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, Energy and Industries Minister Gul Sherali, Economic Development and Trade Minister Farrukh Hamraliyev, Land Reclamation and Water Resources Minister Said Yoqubzod and the head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) Khiariddin Abdurahimov.
