DUSHANBE, November 17, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The Coordination Council of Business Associations of Tajikistan and the China-Europe Association for Economic and Technical Cooperation (CEATEC) signed an agreement on supporting entrepreneurship, investments and expansion of bilateral cooperation in Dushanbe on November 14 on sidelines of the Tajik-Chinese business forum that was held here on November 13-14.

Nekruy Zabirov, the head of Coordination Council of Business Associations of Tajikistan, told Asia-Plus today that the agreement provides for expansion of a broad cooperation between Tajik and Chinese business structures, ranging from exchange of legal information and implementation of programs for training of personnel to exchange of technologies and organization of trade fairs, exhibitions and business forums.

“During a meeting before signing of the agreement, the Chinese side also pointed out the necessity of expansion of bilateral cooperation in the banking sector,” said Zabirov, “The sides also considered issues related to expansion of bilateral cooperation in the field of pharmacy.  Besides, the Tajik side offered development of medical tourism in Tajikistan.”
