DUSHANBE, November 24, Asia-Plus – Two Iranian international schools will be established in Tajikistan and UK in the near future, Iran’s national agency IRNA reported on November 23.
Head of the Iranian schools abroad affiliated to the Ministry of Education said the schools will be inaugurated in the next Iranian academic year (September 23-June 20).
Ali Akbar Qasemi said the UK and Tajikistan schools will admit 180 and 300 students respectively.
He also added some other international schools would be established in Qatar, Kuwait, Syria and Turkey in the near future.
The official said currently an Iranian international school is active in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), adding some three international schools are now operating for foreigners residing in Iran.
Iran has established over 107 international schools in 79 countries.
