The Sughd regional electoral commission members include representatives of Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDPT), the Communist Party (CPT), the Islamic Revival Party (IRPT), the Agrarian Party (APT) and the Party of Economic Reforms as well as nonpartisan persons.

70 constituencies for elections to the Sughd Majlis will be set up in the province.
