DUSHANBE, December 30, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Tajik private air carrier, Somon Air and Germany’s Hahn Air have signed an agreement on selling air tickets for flights operated by Somon Air, according to Somon Air’s press service.

Interline system in civilian aviation is the most simple and most prevalent type of cooperation between air companies aimed at the recognition of traffic documentation of one carrier by the other one.

Somon Air hopes that due to flights of other air companies, with which Hahn Air has similar agreements, the main goal – attraction of passengers by broader network of air routes – will be achieved.  Besides, the agent network of agreement participating air companies will be extended, the press service said.

Established in 1994, Hahn Air is specialized in providing global sales and distribution services to airlines.  Operating the industry”s leading universal ET (E-Ticketing) platform, Hahn Air has implemented agreements with over 200 airlines worldwide, playing a leading role in generating extra revenue for its airline partners through global accessibility to all IATA travel agents using any GDS in all key BSPs.   More than 2 billion coupons per year are being issued on Hahn Air (HR-169) e-tickets in all GDS globally.  80.000 IATA travel agencies in 150 countries trust in the services offered by Hahn Air. Hahn Air has made a profit in each of the last ten years, enjoying an average annual growth rate of more than 20%.
