DUSHANBE, January 5, 2010, Asia-Plus – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Monday in Tajikistan that the Islamic Republic of Iran under no circumstances gives up even one iota of its legitimate rights, IRNA reported Monday afternoon.

Addressing a group of Iranians residing in Tajikistan, he said Iran not only does not give up its legitimate rights but is also to demand for its previous rights already being trampled upon.

With grace to the almighty God the era of hegemony is over and the Iranian nation can successfully fill the gap with the colonial powers round the globe, he said.

All Iranians residing abroad are the flag bearer of civilization, traditions, culture and values of their mother land, he said.

In the past century two devastating wars occurred which claimed lives of over 100 million people which is very remarkable, he said.

The colonial powers have trampled upon the wealth, culture and legitimate rights of all nations round the globe and have committed inhuman crimes, he pointed out.

The dark era in the history is to be over soon and the world is on the verge of a great change, he underlined.

The global arrogance is on the stalemate and the era of bullying powers is over, said the Iranian president.

The present global powers failed to resolve the issue of Palestine and their efforts merely toughen the situation, he said.

The Marxist school of thought is now abolished and capitalism will face the same fate, he said.

The name of the Islamic Republic of Iran manifests culture, arts and justice in the world while the name of the US demonstrates torture, looting, killing and crimes for the world public opinion, he said.

Iran and Tajikistan have many cultural affinities and are regarded as one soul, he said.

The colonial powers seek to dominate the Middle East region but to no avail, he pointed out.

The brave Iranian people are to defend their legitimate rights and under no circumstances are to give even one iota of their rights, he said, adding that the country is to retrieve its legitimate rights which were trampled upon by the bullying powers during World War II.

Iran has assigned an expert team to assess the damage and losses suffered during the period, he said.

Iran is much stronger than before and is to attain its legitimate rights under any circumstances, he said.

Since Iran and Tajikistan have cultural and historical commonalities, with grace to God the prospects of cooperation between the two countries is very promising, he said.

Iran has ratified a bill to set up cultural centers in 26 countries such as Tajikistan to promote cultural ties with those nations, said President Ahmadinejad.
