This year, Iranian authorities have invited leaders of 20 countries, which also celebrate this holiday, to join them in celebrating the Navrouz Holiday in Shiraz, the source at the Iranian Embassy said. “We hope to celebrate our common festival with the presidents of other Persian-speaking countries, including Tajikistan and Afghanistan.”
An informal meeting of heads of state, who accepted the invitation, is expected to take place on sidelines of celebrations to mark the Navrouz Holiday, the source added.
