DUSHANBE, May 4, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Young singer from Tajikistan, 12-year-old Shohrukh Yunusov, was awarded a Degree I Diploma of the Sanremo Junior 2010 Festival that took place in Sanremo, Italy on April 21-25 this year, according to the Ministry of Culture (MoC).

Such a contest among young performers was held for the first time and young performers aged 6 to 15 had the right to participate in the festival.

Besides, Shohrukh Yunusov together with known Tajik opera singer Adham Kholiqov gave a concert in Milan and he was invited to arrive on tour in Milan again, the source at a MoC said.
