The source at a MoEI says the limited liability company, Tajiktekstil (Tajik textile), has funded the construction of the spinning mill in Norak.  “More than 2 million somoni have been spent for construction of the enterprises and another 1.5 million somoni have been used for purchase of equipment,” the source said, noting that the spinning mill in Norak will create 400 new jobs for local residents.

We will recall that Tajik-Russian joint venture, Dushanbe-Tex, launched by Tajiktekstil in cooperation with the Moscow limited liability company, Biznes Resheniye (Business Solution), was officially opened in Dushanbe on May 6.  The sides have invested 4 million U.S dollars in this project (US$2 million each) and the joint venture with capacity of processing 4,000 tons of cotton fiber per year has created 150 new jobs for residents of Dushanbe.
