DUSHANBE, May 18, 2010, Asia-Plus  — A working group made up of specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) and led by Deputy Agriculture Minister, Yusuf Sultonnoyobov, is currently in Gorno Badakhshan on a week-long visit, according to the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA).

The purpose of the visit is for the group to get acquainted with the process of the spring sowing campaign in the region, distribution of agricultural machines, creation of vineyards in Darvoz and Vanj districts and preparations for opening of a poultry farm in the Shugnan district, the source at a MoA said.

During their stay in Khorog, the group members will also familiarize themselves with the pace of construction of a new building for the GBAO agriculture directorate.
