DUSHANBE. May 28. “Asia-Plus” — International conference “Ways of introduction of modern technologies in primary, secondary and higher education institutions” will open today in Tajikistan’s capital.
According to Tajik Ministry of Education, the event is supported by the Interstate foundation of humanitarian cooperation of CIS member states and the German Technical Cooperation organization (GTZ) with the goal to identify perspective directions for the formation and development of modern technologies, develop and implement joint scientific and educational programs, expand international cooperation and establish scientific and pedagogic links at all levels of education, including primary, secondary and higher education levels.
The event will bring together heads and representatives of education institutions from Russia, Germany, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Representatives of such international organizations as UNICEF, IREX, Open Society Institute – Assistance Fund, Aga Khan Foundation, TEMPUS program, European Commission in Tajikistan, World Bank in Tajikistan, USAID and other organizations will also attend the event.
The Interstate foundation of humanitarian cooperation of CIS member states will be represented by deputy director of the organization Tatiana Bubnova.
According to the source, the conference, in the frameworks of which its participants are scheduled to visit a series of universities and other education institutions of the republic, will last for two days.
