DUSHANBE. June 2. “Asia-Plus” — Yesterday, May 1, Tajik Minister of Interior Hamrohon Zarifi met with deputy head of the group of Bundestag parliamentarians on cooperation with Central Asia countries Manfred Grund and Regional Representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation for Central Asia Thomas Kunze.

According to Tajik Interior Ministry’s Department of Information, the sides have discussed the most pressing issues of bilateral relations. The sides stated the progressive character of Tajik-German political dialogue that covers a wide spectrum of issues, including the development of mutually beneficial economic relations and activation of cooperation in humanitarian sector.

“While discussing regional and international block of issues the sides prioritized strengthening of regional security, economic integration and climate change. They have also shared their views on Afghan problem,” the source added.
