Dushanbe. June 14. “Asia-Plus” — Mass disorders which are taking place in southern part of Kyrgyzstan and in which many people have been killed and which caused severe damage to the country’s economy will not be able to settle problems which accumulated in the region, but will only deteriorate the situation, head of the Committee of International Affairs, Public Organizations and Information of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan Olimjon Salimzoda has said.

Tajik parliamentarian stressed that confrontations of international character between Uzbeks and Kyrgyz people in Osh and Jalalobad will serve in favor of enemies of the two nations.

“We believe in wisdom of the conflicting sides and think that these events is an internal problem of Kyrgyzstan,” deputy of the lower chamber of Tajikistan’s parliament stressed.

Talking about referendum on adoption of the new Constitution of Kyrgyzstan scheduled for June 27 this year, deputy of the Tajik parliament said that this move is crucial for legitimization of the temporary government of this country which came to power in April this year as a result of civil unrest in the republic.

“To my way of thinking, despite civil unrest in southern part of the republic, referendum in Kyrgyzstan should be conducted in accordance with the plan and we hope the situation in the country will normalize,” Salimzoda stressed.
