Khujand. June 14. “Asia-Plus” — Representative of Osh and Batken Districts of Kyrgyzstan in Sughd area of Tajikistan Askarali Mirmahmedov recommends residents of Sughd area to refrain from business or tourist trips to Kyrgyzstan, especially to Osh district.
Mirmahmedov hopes that situation in Osh will stabilize within the next week. “Border crossing regime at Tajik-Kyrgyz border remains the same in both directions. Only border guards have toughened their service regimes. According to the information available, Osh, Batken and Jalalabad districts are mobilizing reserve officers,” he said.
