DUSHANBE, August 11, Asia-Plus – The Tadjik Electropower Company Barqi Tojik intends to finish the filling completely of the Nurek water basin till the beginning of September.

As deputy chief engineer of OSHC Barqi Tojik Rashid Gulov has informed to «AP», on the outlined plan the level of water of the Nurek tank should be brought to the maximum mark – 910 meters above sea level till September 1. «Currently, about two meters remains to this mark », – said he.

He underlined that now the river inflow of Vakhsh is 2 thousand 220 cubic meter. From this volume for electric power manufacture on Nurek Hydroelectric Power Station is used just thousand cubic meter.

R.Gulov added that at present every day on the Republic is generated over 45 million kVt per hour electric power, from which about 32 million kVt per hour manufactures by Nurek hydrosystem.
