DUSHANBE, August 16, 2010, Asia-Plus – Tajik rescuers have found a dead body of Ukrainian climber Oleg Monsar, who was missed in Pamir Mountains. According to Tajik Committee on ES and CD, body was found on Saturday, three days after searching begins. At the moment the transportation issues to hometown has been discussing.

We will remind that on July 31 of this year the group of Ukrainian climbers leading Oleg Monsar has attempted to climb on Southern Devlahon pass, located at height of 4,9 thousand meters above sea level. During an ascension Monsar has fell off in a precipice. Two more members of group – Alexey Vashenko and Alexander Nikonenko with whom the communication was missed, have been found by rescuers CES of Tajikistan past Thursday in the Jirgital district on border with Kyrgyzstan.

As they said, together with O. Monsar the portable radio set, a safety cable and other climbing equipment have fallen in a precipice. During search of ways of rescue Ukrainian climbers have met other group of rock-climbers and gave through them their coordinates. Vashenko has been hospitalized with flow off lungs to regional hospital, and Nikonenko together with group of rescuers of Tajikistan stayed to search Monsar.

According to Committee on youth affairs, sports and tourism at Government of RT, group of Ukrainian climbers has arrived to Tajikistan on July, 21, group intended to reach camp “Climbers” on a glacier locality Polyana Moskvin and right there from to make an ascension on mountain peaks.

At present in mountain regions of the country, mainly on Pamir, there are more than 1 thousand foreign climbers.
