DUSHANBE, September 21, 2010, Asia-Plus — To develop a three-year national budget it is necessary to make changes and addenda to a number of country’s laws, including the public finances law, Narzullo Abibulloyev, the head of the national budget department within the Ministry of Finance (MoF), said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

According to him, the ministry plans to develop the three-year national budget in 2012 after amendments to the law on public finances are made.

On the national budget for 2011, Abibulloyev said they had already submitted that draft budget for consideration to the government and it was currently under consideration.

It is to be noted that in his address to parliament, President ordered the Ministry of Finance in April to develop the three-year budget in order to raise efficiency of use of budgetary means on the basis of special sectoral programs for the purpose of improving administration of budget and ensuring its transparency.
