DUSHANBE, September 23, 2010, Asia-Plus  — The Ministry of Defense (MoD) has decided to provide financial support to families of servicemen that were killed in an attack on a military convoy in Kamarob Gorge, Rasht district on September 19.

Minister of Defense Sherali Khairulloyev is expected to visit wounded servicemen that are undergoing medical treatment in the ministry’s hospital in Dushanbe and hospitals in a number of districts, the source said.

According to the data from a MoD, 15 servicemen were wounded in the September 19 attack on the military convoy in Rasht.

The following is the list of servicemen killed in Kamarob Gorge:

  1. Colonel Abduhakim Mahmoudov, 49, (from Ayni district by origin);
  2. Lieutenant-Colonel Akram Sayvaliyev, 36, (Farkhor district);
  3. Captain Said Saidjamolov, 36, (Vose district);
  4. Captain Navrouz Isoyev, 26, (Shuroobod district);
  5. Lieutenant Davaltjon Giyoyev, 23, (the city of Sarband);
  6. Sergeant Farhod Shodiyev, 21, (Danghara district);
  7. Sergeant Elmurod Mirzanov, 20, (Zafarobod district);
  8. Private soldier Zuhuriddin Pardaboy-ughly Chiyanov, 19, (Mastchoh district);
  9. Private soldier Akramali Abdurahmon, 19, (Rasht district);   
  10. Private soldier Farrukh Rajabov, 19 (Shahriston district);   
  11. Private soldier Mansour Rasoulov, 19, (Asht district);   
  12. Private soldier Alisher Umarali, 19 (Roudaki district);   
  13. Sergeant Davron Hotamov, 21, (Danghara district);  
  14. Private soldier Emomali Kholiqov, 19, (Shahrinav district);   
  15. Private soldier Nasriddin Oymahmadov, 19, (Temourmalik district); 
  16. Private soldier Nematullo Rahmonov, 25, (Dushanbe);
