DUSHANBE, September 27, 2010, Asia-Plus  — By capital mayor’s decree extraordinary grants were provided yesterday to families of two soldiers that were killed in a September 19 attack on a military convoy in Rasht district.

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, says the aid was provided to the families of Nematullo Rahmonov, resident of Dushanbe’s Firdavsi district, and Bahrom Abdulloyev, resident of Dushanbe’s Sino district.

Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev also ordered the education and health directorates to provide permanent assistance to families and children of servicemen who died while performing their military duty, the spokesman said.
