DUSHANBE, October 4, 2010, Asia-Plus –Twelve traffic accidents registered in the country over the last weekends have left seven dead and at least 11 injured, according to the Interior Ministry traffic police directorate.

Two fatal accidents took place on October 2 in Jomi district of Khalton province and Roudaki district, some 17 kilometers of Dushanbe.

A minor boy was killed on Saturday as Opel-Astra fell into ditch near the village of Kalfi Safed in Jomi district.

In Roudaki district, Opel-Vectra driven by Ashourali Ashourov ran into a seven-year-old girl Marifatkhon Khaymirzoyeva.  Marifatkhon died in hospital from injuries sustained in the accident, the source said.
