Tajik journalist attend international print exhibition in Tehran

DUSHANBE, October 25, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Representatives from Tajik media are attending the 17th international print exhibition in Tehran.

The Tajik delegation members include senior representatives of 15 state-run and independent media, namely

Asia-Plus

magazine, and the national new agency

.

According to the Iranian Embassy in Dushanbe, the main objective of the exhibition is in promoting establishment and expansion of cooperation between publications and news agencies of the countries of the region and the world as a whole.

Media from 60 countries of the world have reportedly put on display their productions at the exhibition.

During their stay in Iran (from October 25 to November 3), the media representatives will be received by Iran’s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini.

Besides, the exhibition participants will also familiarize themselves with activity of their colleagues working with national television and radio of Iran as well as Iranian print media.

A parallel program includes trips to Iranian cities of Isfahan and Shiraz.
