DUSHANBE, February 10, 2011, Asia-Plus  — On Wednesday February 9, Tajik Finance Minister Safarali Najmiddinov met with Turkish Ambassador to Tajikistan Mehmet Munis Derrik, according to the Ministry of Finance (MoF) Secretariat.

In the course of the talks, the sides exchanged views on state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey in various fields.

A special attention was paid to joint interstate energy, construction and agriculture projects aimed as well as issues related to development of trade between the two countries, attraction of direct investments ad introduction of new technologies that would promote economic development of Tajikistan.

Tajik minister expressed confidence that cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey would expand in the future as well, the source said.
