, is expected to be discharged from hospital today.

In an interview with Asia-Plus, Mr. Sayfullozoda said today that he feels much better now and physicians have promised to discharge him from the hospital today.

According to him, representatives of law enforcement authorities visit him for the last time three days ago and he has not got any information about persons who attacked him.

We will recall that Hikmatullo Sayfullozoda was hospitalized on February 7 after being beaten up on his way to work.  He was attacked in the morning on his way to the

Najot’s

office in Dushanbe.

According to him, he was set upon by two assailants after a third person approached him and attempted to distract him.  He suffered a blow to the skull and severe bruising around his eyes and mouth.  Sayfullozoda has been treated in the National Medical Center in Dushanbe.
