DUSHANBE, May 30, 2011, Asia-Plus — Deputy Foreign Minister Nizomiddin Zohidov has departed for Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to attend that the third annual meeting of deputy foreign ministers of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan that will take place in the Turkmen capital tomorrow, the Tajik MFA information department reports.

Organized by the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy in Central Asia (UNRCCA), the meeting is expected to focus on issues related to enhancing regional cooperation and further assistance by the UN Regional Center to Central Asian countries in addressing the threats to stability and sustainable development.
