DUSHANBE, June 10, Asia-Plus — The Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) Speaker Shukurjon Zuhurov, heading Tajik parliamentary delegation, yesterday met n Seoul with Mr. Kang San-Zo (phonetically spelled), Director of the Korean Agricultural Development Management Agency.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the two discussed establishment and expansion of mutually beneficial agrarian cooperation between Tajikistan and South Korea.

Zuhurov reportedly noted that Tajikistan was interested in using Korean modern technologies for enhancement of its agrarian sector.

The Korean side expressed readiness to cooperate with Tajik specialists in production and export of dried fruits, Sultonov said.
