DUSHANBE, July 27, 2011, Asia-Plus  — More than 197 kilograms of narcotics will be incinerated in a special furnace of the Drug Control Agency (DCA) under the President of Tajikistan today afternoon.

According to the DCA press center, a totaled includes more than 11.5 kilograms of heroin, 54 kilograms of raw opium, and some 110 kilograms of cannabis.  These drugs were confiscated in the course of 2010-2011 and were material evidences in 34 criminal cases.

The counternarcotics agency has incinerated more than 13.5 tons of drugs since it was established twelve years ago.
