DUSHANBE, September 6, 2011, Asia-Plus — Seven persons were killed and at east four others were injured in the traffic accident that took place overnight in Khatlon’s Danghara district, according to the ministry of Interior (MoI).

“Hotam Buzmakov, 31, lost control of his Daewoo and the car went into oncoming traffic and turned over,” said the source at a MoI, “As a result of the accident, the driver and his six passengers, including three minors, died on the spot and four other passengers, including two minors, sustained various injuries and were taken to the Danghara central district hospital.”  The cause of the accident is under investigation.

According to the statistical data from the Interior Ministry traffic police department, five traffic accidents were registered in the country yesterday.  Eleven persons were killed and nine other persons were injured in those accidents.
