DUSHANBE, September 28, 2011, Asia-Plus  — The 11th Congress of Pediatricians of Eurasian Countries is opening in Dushanbe tomorrow

The theme of the congress is “Health Issues and Child Development at the Present Stage.”

Organized by the Government of Tajikistan, Ministry of Health of Tajikistan, Academy of Medical Sciences of Tajikistan, Association of Pediatricians of Tajikistan, Union of National Pediatric Societies, and Association of Pediatric Surgeons, Anesthesiologists and Intensive Care named after A.T. Poulodova, the congress will consider issues related to innovation in the diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescent, preventive pediatrics, pharmacotherapy in pediatrics based on evidence-based medicine, perinatal and neonatal medicine, pediatric surgery, resuscitation and intensive therapy, social aspects of pediatrics, features of feeding in childhood, palliative help for children – the organization of the service and its prospects, as well as success and problems of pediatrics in the Eurasian region.

200 leading specialists from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Afghanistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and some other countries have been invited to attend the congress.

The congress is being held under financial support of a number of international organizations and companies.
