DUSHANBE, October 18, 2011, Asia-Plus  — Tajikistan’s gross domestic product (GDP) for January-September this year has amounted to more than 20 billion somoni (equivalent to more than 4.2 million U.S. dollars), according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

GDP structure by sources of income included: production of services – 51.3 percent; production of goods – 35.4 percent; and taxes – 13.3 percent.

We will recall that the country’s GDP for 2010 was more than 24.704 billion somoni (more than US$5.6 billion at the exchange rate for early January 2011).
