QURHGON TEPPA, November 4 2011, Asia-Plus  — Resident of the Panj district in Khatlon province has got a jail term of 25 years for killing his son.

The Khatlon regional court sentenced Faridoun Nourulloyev to 25 years in prison on November 2.  The sentence followed his conviction on the charges of killing and hooliganism.

Justice Tohir Hamzayev, a judge with the Khatlon regional court, told Asia-Plus that Nourulloyev killed his eight-old son on July 11 this year on the basis jealousy.

According to him, Nourulloyev admitted to the crime during the investigation.  “He admitted that he committed the crime deliberately because he suspected that the boy was not his son,” the judge said.
