DUSHANBE, November 30, 2011, Asia-Plus  — The 4th specialized exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran has opened at the Khokhi Borbad State Complex in Dushanbe today.

Organized by Mashad International Exhibition Company (Iran) and Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) under support of the governments of both countries, the exhibition is reportedly dedicated to promote further expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran, attraction of investments to support development of Tajikistan’s economy, and launch of joint ventures.

Abbas Nejad, CEO, Mashad International Exhibition Company, is sure that the exhibition will give a new impulse to further development of trade between the two countries.

Meanwhile, because of cargo transportation problems only 27 Iranian companies have managed to arrive in Tajikistan to participate at the fair.  They have put on display their achievements in sectors like food industry, construction, agriculture, medical equipment production, production of equipment for reclaiming and production of vegetable oil, packaging, home appliances, ventilation systems, and so forth.

The exhibition runs through December 4.
