DUSHANBE, December 2, 2011, Asia-Plus – A delegation of top managers of a number of Turkish companies that are members of the Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkey (TUSKON) has arrived in Dushanbe to discuss cooperation issues, according to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MoEDT).

The source in a MoEDT says the delegation yesterday met with Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Hamidullo Faqerov.

The sides reportedly considered issues related to expansion of cooperation in sectors like trade, transport and, health care, education, and tourism.

They also discussed launch of joint ventures in Tajikistan, attraction of investments, and opportunities for establishing enterprises fro processing farm produce.

Established in 2005, Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkey (TUSKON) operates as the top organization of associations of businessmen of Turkey.  TUSKON represents all scales of companies, ranging from small to large, from every industry of Turkish economy. 

TUSKON has reportedly organized “Turkey-Africa Foreign Trade Bridge” for three times, “Turkey-Eurasia Foreign Trade Bridge”, and “Turkey-Pacific Foreign Trade Bridge for twice, Turkey Eastern Europe Trade Bridge once since 2005 and it has achieved to create the basis of 5 billion dollars of trade volume thanks to “Foreign Trade Bridge” programs.
