DUSHANBE, January 25, 2012, Asia-Plus  — On Tuesday January 24, Salohiddin Nasrididnov, Tajikistan’s Representative to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, met with Andrey Vasilyev, Deputy Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the Tajik MFA information department reports.

The two reportedly exchanged views on preparations for the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA V) that will take place in Dushanbe in late March.

On the same day, Tajik diplomat met with Mr. William Lacy Swing, Director General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM).  Nasrididnov handed over to the IOM director general an official invitation from the foreign ministers of Tajikistan and Afghanistan to attend the RECCA V, the source said.
