DUSHANBE, January 26, 2012, Asia-Plus  — On Thursday January 26, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) Shukurjon Zuhurov received Non-resident Ambassador of Mongolia to Tajikistan Ayurzan Haraavch.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, Ayurzan Haraavch arrived in Dushanbe today for a three-day working visit.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the two discussed a broad range of issue related to state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Mongolia.

In the course of the talks, Zuhurov briefed Mongolian diplomat on activities of Tajikistan’s professional parliament and noted that Tajik MPs were interested in expansion of cooperation with their Mongolian counterparts.  He offered to create the Tajikistan-Mongolia Parliamentary Friendship Group.

For his part, Ayurzan Haraavch noted that he would do his best to promote further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Mongolia and Tajikistan, Sultonov said.
