DUSHANBE, January 28, 2012, Asia-Plus  — Tajikistan and Germany have signed two cooperation agreements.

The government-to-government agreement on technical cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany and the government-t-government agreement on financial cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany were signed here on Friday, January 27, the Tajik MFA information department reported.

The documents were inked by Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi and German Ambassador to Tajikistan Doris Hertrampf.

The agreement on technical cooperation reportedly provides for sponsoring projects aimed at supporting sustainable development of the private sector and supporting reform of the vocational education system in Tajikistan.

The agreement on financial cooperation gives Tajikistan an opportunity to receive non-repayable subsidies from the German Rehabilitation Credit Institute.  This document provides for financing the health and sustainable economic development projects, the source said.
