Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also discussed bills requiring amendments to the country’s laws on physical training and sports, state social insurance, and courts.

The board also considered issues related to establishment of parliamentary groups of friendship and cooperation with Afghanistan, Armenia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Pakistan, Belgium, Mongolia, China, Finland and Iran.

These parliamentary friendship groups are groups of elected members of the Majlisi Namoyandagon whose aim is to foster relations between Tajikistan and the mentioned countries and their elected representatives.

Some of these issues will be considered at the next regular sitting of the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation that will take place in Dushanbe on February 15, Sultonov said.
