DUSHANBE, February 15, 2012, Asia-Plus  — On Tuesday February 14, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Sharif Rahimzoda met here with German Ambassador to Tajikistan, Ms. Doris Hertrampf.

An official source at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MoEDT) says the sides discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany in various fields.

Rahimzoda, in particular, noted that Tajikistan was interested in expansion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation with advanced countries of the world, including Germany.  “We are ready to cooperate in implementing joint projects that would promote creation of new jobs in the republic,” Tajik minister said.

The two also discussed issues related to reparations for the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA V) that will take place in Dushanbe next month, the source added.
