Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon ordered to provide a one-time financial assistance to participants and veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

Therefore, President ordered Tajik Ministry of Finance to allocate a one-time financial aid to the aforementioned persons and ordered local authorities provide material and moral assistance to participants and invalids of the Great Patriotic War, press service of the President’s Office reported.

The volume of the assistance, however, remains unclear.

Tajik Ministry of Finance told AP that 1715 participants and invalids of the Great Patriotic War will be awarded 600 Somoni each in the form of flat assistance, while the volume of funds will make 1mln 22.000 Somoni.
